Summer movies, a vice, to be sure.
I don’t know if you all know this but, I’m a big movie guy. I watch a whole lot of movies, from tiny almost budget-less art house flicks to big million dollar summer movies.
Summer is my favorite seasons of the year. Why, you may ask.
Barbecues, drinks, the beach, new albums, new movies, happy people, smiles in the sun, families coming together, summer romances and flings and of course small scale grand adventures.
I have been a summer movie man since I was a little tyke. I used to look forward to ridiculous explosions and special effects and make up. Things that churn up fantasies, make my mind work overtime. Makes the little kid in me squeal with excitement. And being a life long comic book buff, with a collection of well over a 1500 comic books, including limited and special editions, this time of year, is my little slice o’ Heaven.
Comic book and super hero movies galore.
So this is where I tell you which movies to look out for this summer, or at least share with you those that I am looking out for this summer. I’ll tell you which they are, and why I’m excited about them, and maybe why you should be too. And once I have seen them, I will rate and review them on here, so that you can see what I thought of them.
Let’s get started shall we, and here there are, my picks for awesome summer movies to look out for in the summer of 2010.
In no particular order.
1) Iron Man 2.
Synopsis:
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero “Iron Man,” reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. In “Iron Man 2,” the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
Why should I care?
It’s Iron Man, it’s Robert Downey, it’s Mickey Rourke. What else do you need? Jon Favreau is by far the Christoper Nolan of Marvel. He has the Midas touch, in my opinion. Much like Nolan is quickly becoming the fierce directing powerhouse of DC, so is Favreau with Marvel. He puts his heart and soul into these projects and knows how to make it all work, which he has already proved by delivering the best superhero movie Marvel has ever put out, in my opinion. DC had the good sense of making Nolan the man behind Superman, why? Because he knows how to make it work, and he has proven this twice with the Batman franchise. And now Marvel made Favreu exec. producer on “The Avengers” which in my opinion was a brilliant move on their part, but to be honest, I would have rather seen Favreau in the director’s chair on that one.
Robert Downey is a powerhouse actor to be sure, and he brings Tony Stark to life. Rourke after seeing his absolutely outstanding performance in “The Wrestler” (Which I highly recommend by the way), should be able to bring credibility to this incredible character of Whiplash (Ivan Vanko). This movie has star power, it has a budget, and it has a director who absolutely loves this project, and genuinely cares about delivering a strong product, instead of simply cashing in on lunchboxes and t-shirts.
2) Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
Synopsis:
From the team that brought the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia and based on the video game of the same name. A rogue prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
Why should I care?
Well my faith in this film lies in the fact that it’s the team that brought us the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” franchise, which is one of the best sagas I have seen in a long time. I don’t agree with those that say that it has watered down with the final two films of the trilogy. I enjoyed it all thoroughly. And now here they are, bringing us a middle-eastern tale of heroism and magic. Think Pirates meets Aladdin meets Indiana Jones. That is what I have in mind when I think of this film. The video game which I have never owned, but have played one or two of them, was highly entertaining.
I personally like Jake Gyllenhaal as an actor, he is not one of my favorites, but I respect him, and think that once he evolves in his craft and he learns how to pick roles that flatter him and cater to his strong suits, he will be one of the best talents out there, not to say he doesn’t have fantastic roles under his belt; Brokeback Mountain, Jarhead and Zodiac to name but a few.
Alfred Molina has a supporting role in here, and I think he is a phenomenal actor, one of my personal favorites, I highly enjoyed him in “An Education” and also his portrayal of Dr. Octo Octavius in Sam Raymi’s “Spider Man 2”.
And also Ben Kingsley is in here, and he is a living legend having played Ghandi so perfectly.
Also interesting is the new comer Gemma Arterton, which is said to be the new Megan Fox, who as we all know has kept Paparazzi on their toes, and every geek out there soaking wet and parched for a while now. So if this is the new Megan, this is the time to keep an eye on her and see where this leads. I can already pretty much guarantee she is a better actress than ol’ Megan, but that is not saying much seeing as Mr. Planters, yes the peanut guy, is better at acting than she is, and he doesn’t even exist! Go figure. Heh.
If Bruckheimer and his team can muster up half the movie Pirates was, I am a happy camper. But with these ingredients, it doesn’t seem too hard to deliver.
3) Splice
Synopsis:
Clive and Elsa are superstars of the genetic engineering world. They specialize in splicing together DNA from different animals to create fantastical new hybrids. The charismatic couple wants to use human DNA in a new hybrid – something that could yield astronomical medical benefits. The pharmaceutical company that funds their research, however, is more interested in exploiting their earlier triumphs for easier, short-term profit. Clive and Elsa secretly conduct their own experiment. The result is Dren: an amazing creature who exhibits an array of unexpected developments, both physical and intellectual. Dren exceeds their wildest dreams… and, ultimately, their most terrifying nightmare.
Why should I care:
I’ll make it real simple for you. Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hell boy series and The orphanage), whom is one of the greatest creative minds I have seen, produced it and is very excited about the movie, as he has been speaking out about the movie for a while now. And it stars Adrien Brody (The Pianist), which is one of my personal favorites.
Let me get it out of the way that I am not a huge horror fan, I like horror, and I have great respect for horror, especially for horror history in Hollywood. But it’s a dragged out genre, and we rarely get to see something fresh come out of it. But sometimes, you do get a gem, you get something really special, that shakes your foundations, and makes you think, and sometimes make you feel very differently than anything else out there.
Guillermo del Toro, with every horror / fantasy movie he has put out, has achieved this for me. And I think he just might do it again this time around with Splice.
4) The A-Team
Synopsis:
“The A-Team” follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going “rogue,” they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. Liam Neeson (“Taken”), Bradley Cooper (“The Hangover”), mixed martial arts champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and “District 9” sensation Sharlto Copley, are “The A-Team.”
Why should I care?
It stars both Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper, both of which I highly enjoy. I’ve enjoyed Liam since way back when he did “Dark Man” and most of what he has done ever since, I wouldn’t label any of it brilliant, but entertaining to be sure. Bradley is a relatively new member to the big spotlight in Hollywood, but I should say that I highly enjoyed him in all the movies I have seen him in, everything from “The Hangover” to “All about Steve”. I think he has incredible screen presence, and has a certain flamboyance to him, much like Will Smith and Samuel L. Jackson. I think in due time he will blossom wonderfully in Hollywood. So on the shoulders of these two highly entertaining actors I think the movie should fare well.
The director did “Smokin’ Aces“ which I enjoyed, I thought it was average at best. I have not seen the original A-Team series which the movie is based on, so I can’t judge based on that, but since it’s an action movie directed by someone who has done action relatively well in the past, I think the movie will do alright. Although as always I’m sure that hardcore fans of the old series, will bash this remake, revamp, redone or what have you to bits. But I will walk into this movie with an open mind, and hope it entertains me some.
5)The Karate Kid
Synopsis:
In Columbia Pictures’ “The Karate Kid,” 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) could’ve been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother’s (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying—and the feeling is mutual—but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre’s feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts “the karate kid” on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), who is secretly a master of kung fu. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life.
Why should I care?
Let me start off by saying this, I don’t remember having seen all of the originals. I have seen the first one, and I don’t remember ever being a huge fan of it or anything. To be honest with you, I don’t have a whole many reasons to be excited about this. The director which is Harald Zwart, has done “The Pink Panther 2” which I enjoyed far less than staring at my cold, stale excrement for 2 hours a while back. I have never enjoyed Jackie Chan very much. The only person I’m looking at going into this feature is Will Smith’s son, Jaden. I enjoyed him very much in “The pursuit of happyness” and I think that he might be one of those child stars that make something of themselves. I’m hoping that the chemistry between Chan and Smith might make this one worth it. The trailer is well put together, and makes you curious as to how this modern retelling will play itself out.
6)Knight & Day
Synopsis:
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz star in this sexy action comedy, in which a chance encounter thrusts a woman and a charming but lethal operative into a series of adventures across the globe. As if dodging assassins and uncovering world-changing secrets weren’t enough, she must now figure out if he is a good guy, a traitor – or just plain crazy.
Why should I care?
The director of this movie, James Mangold, for starters, has crafted two very fine movies in the past which I highly enjoyed, one of which is “3:10 to Yuma”, and the other is “Walk the Line”. It stars Cruise and Diaz, A-list talent. It’s an action comedy. Think Michael Bay’s Bad boys. I mean ‘nough said. I’m sure that all it will be is a pop corn flick, easy to digest, and a blast to watch. But then, isn’t that what summer movies are supposed to be? A good time, a wild ride, a wham! Bam!, Thank you ma’am. And I’m almost certain this one will deliver in full.
7)The last Airbender
Synopsis:
Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.
Why should I care?
Well M.Night Shyamalan is one of those artists, that either you love him, or hate him. I love some of his work, and I think the others are shit. He looks to me like an artists who is extremely passionate about his work, but stuff gets lost in translation allot. I think that if this guy would write books, he would be far more successful. But alright, with that being said, he has done great work in the past, my favorite being “Unbreakable”, and with honorable mentions being “The sixth sense” and “Signs”. And then you have movies like “The Village” and “The happening” which I didn’t like very much. Though I loved the message behind “The happening” I should say, I thought the movie was average, if the execution was better, that movie would have rocked.
So this could be a hit or miss for him, what’s different this time is the budget, this is the biggest budget this guy has ever been handed to make a film with, and also, it’s not his original creation, it’s based off of a cartoon, so all he has to do this time around is interpret, and sort of puzzle some stuff together in order for it to translate well into a live action film.
The actors are all unknown, at least to an American audience.
I have never seen a single episode of the cartoon, but viewing the live action trailer for the movie, it looks fantastic, I liked what little I saw of the fighting sequences, seems like solid choreography. I love the fact that they deal with the elements, and people get to wield them as weapons, I love the different creatures, I love the fact that the protagonist of the tale is the last of his kind, and also the fact that in many ways he resembles his Holiness the Dalai Lama.
It just seems like an epic middle eastern “save the world” movie, with powers, and fine choreography, helmed by a man, who is a genius in his own right, and is also middle eastern. So it shouldn’t be a heavy load for him in terms of creativity as he has plenty of source material, and a big budget to make it happen, but there is a whole lot of pressure on him because of the budget they made him responsible for. I would say this is almost “make him, or break him” deal. He has been running out of steam quick with his latest films not doing to great, so I would gather that if this one flops, he will have a hard time getting people to fund his future projects, so I really do hope he delivers, and I will be right there, popcorn in hand, fingers crossed, hoping for a saving grace for Mr. Shyamalan.
8)Predators
Synopsis:
A bold new chapter in the Predator universe, “Predators” was shot on location under Rodriguez’s creative auspices at the filmmaker’s Austin-based Troublemaker Studios, and is directed by Nimród Antal. The film stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Why should I care?
Why should you care…? Why should anyone care that this is a movie directed by Robert Rodriguez, one of my personal favorite directors, who understands action movies and adrenaline thoroughly. Who has a gift for mixing light comedy with intense mind boggling action, a man personally respected by the living legend Quentin Tarantino. Or maybe you shouldn’t care that this has an ensemble cast that is as strong as a rhino! Consisting of Adrien Brody, Topher Grace (Spiderman 3), Lawrence Fishburne (The Matrix) and Danny Trejo (Every good action movie you’ve seen, and probably those you haven’t seen too!). And lastly why should you care about everything I just mentioned thrown into one of the best movie franchises to date, who has spun off into countless videogames, comic books and crazed fanboys the world over! I mean honestly..I don’t see why anyone should care.
Oh and for the record, Rodriguez my friend, has fleshed out the predator race. He has now created different predator soldiers and warriors, even predator hounds, and doing it all the right way, half animatronic and costume, half CG. Pure-fucking-genius. Do I care? Just a tiny bit.
9)Inception
Synopsis:
Plot Summary: Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.
Why should I care?
Let me start by saying I don’t understand what this movie is about. At all. But, what I do understand is the foundation behind this film. And that foundation consists of Chris Nolan, the man who brought us “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”, along with other screen gems, all of which are fantastic pieces of cinema. We have Leo diCaprio (Blood Diamond, Titanic and The Departed), we have Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Batman Begins), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 days of summer, The Lookout), the legend Michael Caine (Sleuth, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) and Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Sunshine and Red Eye). Honestly, how can this movie go wrong? All the stars have aligned for this one, seriously.
The only thing I’m afraid of which is the case with most if not all of Nolan’s films, is that it might get too complicated to enjoy. I’m pretty sure this will turn out not being what we’re used to from popcorn flicks. This will be deep, intelligent, and complicated. I’m sure plenty of people will walk out of the theater scratching their heads at what exactly they have bore witness too. I’m hoping for a deep and compelling storyline, I know I’ll get over the top acting and drama, I’m crossing my fingers that I won’t have to be a rocket scientist to get this one. Besides that, this one is a real gem this summer.
10)The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Synopsis:
Walt Disney Studios, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Jon Turteltaub, the creators of the “National Treasure” franchise, present “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” — an innovative and epic romantic comedy adventure about a sorcerer and his hapless apprentice who are swept into the center of an ancient conflict between good and evil.
Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
Why should I care?
Jon Turteltaub, which is the director here, is the man behind the “National Treasure” series, which was also done under Disney, same as this movie. That series starred Nicholas Cage, same as this one. And that series..ROCKED! I found the “National Treasure” series to be very entertaining, and I’m sure this one will do just fine. I don’t know about you but I like me some Wizards and magic. What can I say? I’m a geek, and I’m proud of it. So I think that the winning combination that brought us National Treasure, will bring us another winner this summer. Oh and by the way, this time around they’re giving us a little Alfred Molina too. All the more reason to rejoice over this magical tale.
11)Salt
Synopsis:
Plot Summary: As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who Is Salt?”
Why should I care?
My desire to see this movie comes purely from seeing the trailer. The trailer is very well put together, and it seems highly entertaining, and the story seems interesting enough. Is this woman really Evelin Salt, is it a setup, is she bigfoot shaved down to a sultry mamacita? Who knows! But she’ll make shit explode and smoke fools, I’ll tell you that much!
And of course the other reason I want to see this is Angelina Jolie, which in my opinion is a very solid actress. She did a phenomenal job in “Changeling” and “A Mighty Heart”.
The director has not done anything that I have seem before, but from what I understand, he likes to make his films very political, and I’m not a big fan of those movies, there’s a handful I like, but his, I have not seen.
The screenwriter (Kurt Wimmer) on the other hand, has done “Law Abiding Citizen” which I thought was pretty enjoyable up until the very ending which I thought was horrid and illogical. But all in all it was an alright movie. He also did the classic “Total Recall” with the govnah Ahnold Schwarzenegger, which well..is a classic! So there is some light at the end of the tunnel in that regard.
I think this movie will do fine, solid action, what seems like a compelling storyline, and a fine star behind it. I’m hoping it’s entertainment value will be in the vein of “Face Off” or “The Rock”. That’s a tough cookie to crack because those movies are untouchable. But time will tell..this one definitely has potential.
12)The Other guys
Synopsis:
Set in New York City, “The Other Guys” follows Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell), a forensic accountant who’s more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city’s top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don’t quite go as planned.
Why should I care?
I know allot of people out there hate Will Ferrel, I don’t. I think he’s pretty damn cool most of the time. I love most of his movies, some of which are instant classics in my book. The director of this film, directed two of the aforementioned instant classics starring Ferrel, and those films would be “Step Brothers” and “Talladega Nights:The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”. So there is no way I am not watching this one.
The two other movies Ferrel and Adam McKay (director) did together that I love so much, are hilarious. Absolute genius, I highly recommend picking these up if you haven’t already.
And this one has a cast that has me sweating like a clamidia whore at the Vatican. Walk with me, talk with me. Check this cast out folks: Will Ferrel, Mark Wahlberg (Italian Job, Shooter, Four Brothers), Eva Mendes (We Own The Night, Ghost Rider), Michael Keaton (Tim Burton’s Batman, Multiplicity, Beetlejuice), Samuel L. Jackson (‘nough said) and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Scorpion King, Be Cool and Get Smart)
I smell winner winner, chicken dinner.
13)The expendables
Synopsis:
Expendable: capable of being sacrificed in order to accomplish a military objective.
“The Expendables” is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge – one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as “removing those hard to get at stains.” The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Jet Li), a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.
When the mysterious Church offers Barney a job no one else would take, Barney and his team embark on what appears to be a routine mission: overthrow General Gaza (David Zayas), the murderous dictator of the small island country of Vilena and end the years of death and destruction inflicted on its people. On a reconnaissance mission to Vilena, Barney and Christmas meet their contact Sandra (Giselle Itie), a local freedom-fighter with a dark secret. They also come to learn who their true enemy is: rogue ex-CIA operative James Monroe (Eric Roberts) and his henchman Paine (Steve Austin). When things go terribly wrong, Barney and Christmas are forced to leave Sandra behind, essentially giving her a death sentence. Haunted by this failure, Barney convinces the team to return to Vilena to rescue the hostage and finish the job he started. And to perhaps save a soul: his own.
Why should I care?
If you’re chromosomes do not contain a Y. I don’t see any reason why you would be interested in this movie other than seeing sweaty, oily, dirty men doing manly and impossible things on the silver screen.
If you’re chromosomes contain a Y. It is your solemn duty to watch this movie, or die.
Sylvester Stallone wrote, directed and stars in this one. He is pretty much the mascot for all men, ever, period. It’s him and Arnold. And Arnold is ruling Cali for a little while longer, so this guy is dishing out damage in the meantime.
Sylvester Stallone co wrote most of the movies which made him who he is today, I’m not sure if allot of you know that. Now this impresses me, because most people think of this guy as this hulking, drooling idiot. When actually he is far from it. It takes loads of smarts to write a script, let alone a script that turns into a successful movie. This guy did it, over and over again. And then to go on to do the latest Rambo and Rocky on his own, and turn them into what I thought were fantastic follow ups to these memorable franchises. He gave absolutely beautiful, and completely plausible closure to these characters.
Here he is now. Making the ode of all odes to action movies. This movie will be the movie to watch if you’re an action fan, so much so that if you call yourself an action fan and you have not watched this movie, you should shut up and go play with Pokemon. Why? because you wet your pants, and you fantasize about boys.
Now with this being said, let me just clarify my point by pointing out the cast, and if by then you don’t fathom why you would go to your local theater to check this out, then I suggest you spend your time potty training.
The cast: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Charisma Carpenter and Mickey Rourke. Guest starring Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
If you don’t know the artists mentioned in that cast, you have been living under a rock for the past 30 or so odd years.
That is all. I bow out.
Well that wraps up my summer at the movies. I hope you guys have found some inspiration to watch some of these movies this summer after reading my article. Maybe I’ll see you there! And if you see me at any of these movies, and you’re there because of my article, buy me a slice of pizza!
